This site is in it’s infancy – but the objective is to offer “Insider Secrets” on topics that can trip you up and keep you from your dreams! There will be a LOT of FREE information – along with products and information that will need to be paid for (I’ll most likely use my affiliate link for those!). But don’t worry…I’ll guide you to the best of the best and let you know HOW to use the products to get the most out of them. I know that it can be very frustrating when you are first getting started and it can be very overwhelming to search for good information. That is where Internet Marketing 101 comes in! I will lay out all the basic information you need and guide you to the help you have been looking for.
I do not claim to know everything…which is why I will point to other Blogs and websites with great learning resources and information to fill in the gaps and help you get your online business up and running in no time. You don’t have to do it alone and you don’t have to break the bank. Making money from Internet Marketing is easier than you think!
So let’s get started with the VERY BASIC topic of Internet Marketing itself: What is it? Wikipedia says:
Internet marketing, also referred to as i-marketing, web marketing, online marketing, or eMarketing, is the marketing of products or services over the Internet…Internet marketing ties together creative and technical aspects of the Internet, including: design, development, advertising, and sales. Internet marketing also refers to the placement of media along different stages of the customer engagement cycle through search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), banner ads on specific websites, e-mail marketing, and Web 2.0 strategies.
So basically Internet Marketing is the “marketing” or selling of products and services using the Internet. While the options to do this are wide – I hope that you see that ‘what’ Internet Marketing really is - is pretty small in scope. It’s just selling stuff online!
